What is SecureUPDATE Application?


SecureUPDATE is an advanced delta-maker software application that allows users to create a single binary differencing file by analyzing two folders, the source and the target folder, regardless of the number of files they contain or the differences between them.

The differences between the files contained by the two folders are then represented in a much more compact form.


The most common application of binary differencing is creating software 'deltas' or 'patches'; because these deltas or patches represent the modifications between two files in a much more compact form, these files can also be much easier distributed than the actual files on secure (or non-secure channels); original files that need deltas or patches usually then to be extremely large in size.

Following distribution to a a target machine on a remote location, a delta (patches) are then used to (re)create a newer version of file given the original file version and the delta.
